,no that's not what information technology ways ,it should read the cd-r disks..
the problem is that with win8 you can choose to utilize a cd similar a usb pollex drive. {or a cd that volition work in whatever cd player} ,it formats the disk and you lot can utilise it over again to add more file until you finalise the disk.
what type of disk are you trying to create, what blazon od files are you lot trying to burn to the disk

fist let me say I erred in my concluding post ,i show the dvd aouto play setting and should take shown the cd-r ,its lower in the list ,and if you set information technology to burn file to cd-r .yous go the box popup shown in this prototype .just choose to play in cd/dvd role player

yes I get that for many unlike file types ,non sure when it stops giving that message, i think it will prompt every time you install a new/different app ,.but I don't carp with it because I accept all the programs set as default that I want to use for all file types .yous tin can practise that in control panel ,Defaults Programs .quickest way to command panel and many other functions can be constitute by right click on the windows icon on the taskbar ,lower left corner
